Filmus & Nikos Ikonomeas began their collaboration in 2019, till now their music project counts a lot of appearances in acclaimed clubs and luxurious hotels. They are combining live dj set, electronic & physical wind instruments. The group produces a result of live electronic music with a lot of organic / ethnic elements creating at the same time a rhythmic and relaxing audio environment. In addition, Filmus & Nikos Ikonomeas are working in the area of producing music, their track "Terma" released by Shango records, managed to reach in position no. 68 of Beatport international inside the genre of organic house/downtempο during March of 2021.
Filmus first steps as an amateur dj were made in small bars in Thessaloniki as a student in University of Thessaloniki around 1999, influenced by electronic music area like Depeche Mode
Radiohead, Massive Attack, Fatboy Slim, Kruder & Dorfmeister Fila Brazillia, Bonobo, Thievery Corporation e.t.c. On his return to Crete, he was main dj in many parties and acclaimed clubs all over the island. In 2009 his first broadcasting dj sets in
mixcloud became widely known
and gained many listeners all around world, you can enjoy there his
monthly dj sets that combines downbeats, exotic overtones and ethnic
sounds.
From 2013 until now Filmus is resident dj of Daios Cove and music
producer in a collaboration with international musicians performing
atmospheric electronic music with elements from downtempo to

Nikos Ikonomeas is a musician & performer, clarinet soloist and electronic music composer. He studied art history and archeology (1999-2004) at the University of Crete and Thesaloniki. After graduating, he moved to Germany to study art. In 2013 he graduated from Duesseldorf art academy. He has worked as a painter, sculptor, performer and musician across Europe from 2006-2016. Since 2016 he has been living in Greece and performing his compositions as a musician, or as a session musician in collaboration with many other musicians and producers with important work.
